For Mendicity Relatives who wish to retrace the full march taken by Sean Heuston’s D Company, 1st Battalion across Dublin on the morning of Easter Monday.
Assemble: George’s Church, Temple St, Dublin 1
10.15am:
Other Mendicity Relatives and friends assemble opposite Liberty Hall,
Beresford Place near Connolly Monument.
10.30am:
Historical Walk sets off to Mendicity, proceeding along South Quays
11.30am:
Community & relatives assemble for unveiling
at Quays, front of Mendicity Institution, 9 Usher’s Island Quay, Dublin 8 (see map below)
